2022 is here! As we start a new year, we want to thank you for your support and share more about the programs and services featured in REHAB Foundation’s latest REACH newsletter.

Our spinal cord injury (SCI) program supports patients who were injured in diving accidents, motorcycle collisions, car collisions, falls, and other accidents. A wide range of symptoms can be experienced, depending on the severity and location of an injury. Sometimes an individual with a spinal injury can expect full recovery with rehabilitation, while other injuries can be more serious and result in permanent damage.

Our REHAB team will assess and make recommendations based on each patient’s needs. There are various factors that impact the length of stay at REHAB, but on average, patients stay about 3-4 weeks as a participant in our SCI program.

David Togami says REHAB's RT300 electrical stimulation bike was an important part of his therapy.

REHAB’s Pulmonary Recovery Program* is a wellness and rehabilitation program that helps participants improve their breathing, stamina, and fitness after recovering from COVID-19. In the program, participants receive customized guidance from licensed physical therapists and exercise specialists who track their progress in key health measures.
