REHAB Hospital of the Pacific Prepares For It's 31st Annual Golf Challenge

Friday, February 27, 2026

The REHAB Foundation announced today that its 31st Annual REHAB Golf Challenge, presented by First Hawaiian Bank, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Hawaii Prince Golf Club. The annual event aims to raise critical funds to support REHAB Hospital of the Pacific (REHAB Hospital) in its mission to provide the highest level of care at Hawaii’s only comprehensive acute rehabilitation hospital.

First Hawaiian Bank has generously been the presenting sponsor of the tournament raising millions to support REHAB Hospital’s critical functions to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from a wide range of conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury.

"We are so honored to have the support of First Hawaiian Bank and other sponsors who step up to help our hospital’s important work," said Stephanie Nadolny, President and CEO of REHAB Hospital. "Funds raised allow us to treat people in our state without having to travel to the mainland to receive care that otherwise would not be possible in the islands. Being close to home improves outcomes and healing times and we are pleased to be able to offer such rehabilitation services for our community."

Neill Char, Vice Chairman & Group Manager, Retail Banking and Consumer Products Group at First Hawaiian Bank and Event Co-Chair, said, "It's an honor to co-chair this landmark 31st Annual REHAB Golf Challenge with Stanford Carr. This event is especially meaningful to me on a personal level. I have seen firsthand how REHAB Hospital’s care has positively impacted close friends of mine. Their experiences reinforce how vital this facility is to our community. Whether you participate by golfing, sponsoring, volunteering, or donating - every golfer, every volunteer, and every sponsor helps make a difference.”

The tournament features a three-person scramble format with a modified shotgun start at 11:30 a.m., preceded by registration at 10:00 a.m. Participants will enjoy a day of golf, a specialty bento, on-course food and refreshments, and a post-tournament awards dinner. Various sponsorship opportunities are available, offering businesses and individuals the chance to support REHAB Hospital's mission.
