Throughout the year, the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific (REHAB), is celebrating 70 years of helping thousands of individuals in Hawaii and throughout the Pacific Rim dealing with the challenges caused by serious physical or cognitive injuries.

“We are honored to have been able to serve Hawaii’s community and the individuals around the Pacific Rim in need of acute inpatient medical rehabilitation for 70 years,” said Stephanie Naldony, President and CEO of REHAB Hospital of the Pacific.“ By being the only comprehensive acute rehabilitation hospital serving Hawaii, we are able to provide the highest level of rehabilitation care for the people right here at home.”

Governor Josh Green issued a special message in honor of REHAB’s 70th anniversary acknowledging them for their comprehensive and innovative services and being a top performer in its category, serving thousands on an annual basis with a 90 percent return to home/community rate. He also congratulated them for 70 years of excellence in caring for Hawaii’s people.

In addition to the Governor’s special message, the Mayor had also declared September 18-22 to be Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Week and acknowledged REHAB as a “community-minded” organization that often seeks “to give back in countless ways through participation in various community causes.”

REHAB is proud to have served Hawaii’s community for 70 years and remains committed and dedicated to rebuilding lives and empowering patients in Hawaii with its certified and caring professionals for many years to come.
