Recreational Therapist (30 hours/week)
Requirements:
National certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist; or is eligible for and completes national certification within 18 months of date of hire. Current CPR certification within 3 months from hire and a current driver's license is required.
Job Duties:
Promotes the use of recreation services as a treatment modality to improve or maintain physical, mental, emotional, and/or social functioning to assist patients in expressing independent leisure lifestyles. This is accomplishd by individualized assessment, treatment plan as needed, implementatin, and discharge plan.
Skills/Experience:
Work experience in physical rehabilitation. Ability to operate a van.
