Job Duties:
Responsible for ensuring prompt and accurate pre-registration and/or registrations of in- and out-patients. Verifies eligibilty, insurance benefit(s) and obtains applicable referral(s) and pre-authorization(s) within the set timeframes. Interviews patients and/or family members upon admission to facility, obtains information for facility records, completes admission forms, and enters patient data in automated information system.
Skills/Experience:
At least one year of experience in a business office setting. Ability to multi-task in fast pace environment. Accurate and timely data entry. Excellent teamwork, customer service, written and oral communication skills.
